11月の集まろう会は３会場で行います！

①11月13日（木）10時〜12時

Lecester Hall 
「みんなでワイワイ干支づくり」紙粘土で2026年の干支を作ります

2026年は、丙午（ひのえうま）の年です。これは60年に一度巡ってくる干支「丙」と「午」が組み合わさった年となります。
皆様お一人お一人、そして、日本人コミュニティー の力強さや勢い、成功、飛躍などを象徴する年を迎える準備をしましょう。

参加費：お一人＄５。
持ち物：マイドリンクカップ

②11月19日（水）10時半〜12時半

草月流いけばな師範の村上桂子様との共同企画。
「草月流いけばなワークショップ：特別オファー付き」

❶お庭に咲いているお花 （軽めのものが良いです）　もしくは＄５〜１５で会場で用意するお花をご利用・ご購入できます。

❷時間に余裕があれば、空き瓶とストローを使った花器の作り方レクチャーも見せて教えてくれますので、一緒に作業をしたい方は空き瓶をお持ちください。

❸お花用の剪定ばさみがある方はお持ちください。

また、この日はオークランド移動図書館が選りすぐりの日本語図書をたくさん持ってきてくれます。

③11月27日（木）10時半〜12時15分 

参加費無料「専門家と歩こう！」

Sunnynook Primary School 横にある、Lyford Reserve を歩きながら
ニュージーランドの「在来植物（昔からある植物）」と「外来種の植物（害になることもある植物）」そして、「野生動物について」知識を深め、豊かで美しいニュージーランドの自然を一緒に守っていきましょう。年齢制限はありません。

待ち合わせ場所：Sunnynook Primary School
10:15~10:30 小学校のトイレを使えます。
10:30になりましたらリザーブへと出発いたします。

持ち物：水筒と歩きやすい格好

“Let’s Create the Zodiac Together!” – Crafting the 2026 Zodiac Animal with Paper Clay
The year 2026 will be the Year of the Fire Horse (Hinoe-Uma) — a zodiac combination that occurs only once every 60 years.
Let’s prepare together for a year symbolising strength, success, and new energy for each of us and for the wider Japanese community.

Participation fee: $5 per person
What to bring: Your own drink cup

② 19 November (Wednesday), 10:30am – 12:30pm

Albany Community Hub
In collaboration with Ms Keiko Murakami, a certified Sogetsu Ikebana instructor.
“Sogetsu Ikebana Workshop – With a Special Offer!”

1. You may bring flowers from your garden (light and easy-to-carry ones), or purchase flowers prepared at the venue for $5–$15.
   
2. If time allows, Ms Murakami will also show how to make a simple vase using an empty bottle and straws. Please bring an empty bottle if you’d like to try making one together.
   
3. If you have pruning scissors for flowers, please bring them along.
   

On this day, the Auckland Mobile Library will also join us with a special collection of Japanese books available for browsing and borrowing.

③ 27 November (Thursday), 10:30am – 12:15pm

Free Event – “Walk with a Specialist!”

Join us for a guided nature walk around Lyford Reserve, next to Sunnynook Primary School.
While walking, you’ll learn more about New Zealand’s native plants, introduced species, and wildlife, and how we can protect the country’s rich and beautiful natural environment together.
This session is open to all ages.

Meeting point: Sunnynook Primary School

• 10:15–10:30 – Toilets at the school are available before the walk
  
• 10:30 – We will depart for the reserve
  

What to bring: A water bottle and comfortable walking clothes

「カフェで集まろう会」
毎回先着10名様。

カフェで集まり、雑談を通して様々な情報交換、課題解決策を一緒に見つけたりできるといいなと思っています。65歳未満の方はシニアの方の送迎や、他の地域で開催してくださるボランティアサポーターとして関わってくださる方優先でお越しください。

時間：１０時〜１１時半
場所：JANKEN (158 Jervois Road, Herne Bay)

参加したいけど、何かの理由で参加が難しい方は、一度ご一報ください。事情によっては協力できることもあるかもしれません。

多世代が気軽に集まり日本語で楽しめる会、日常で繋がり支え合える繋がりの場として、周囲へのお声がけとみなさまのご参加をお待ちしております。

“Japanese Coffee Group”
– Limited to 10 Participants Each Time

A small and friendly meet-up at a local café, where participants can enjoy light conversation, exchange information, and explore ideas and solutions together.
If you are under 65, we kindly ask that you join mainly as a volunteer supporter — for example, by assisting with transport for older participants or helping to organise similar sessions in other areas.

If you would like to join but find it difficult to attend for any reason, please contact us — we may be able to help depending on your situation.If you have registered but can no longer attend, please let us know at 021-041-9575 (Ikue). This gathering offers a relaxed opportunity for people of all generations to meet and enjoy conversation in Japanese.

It also aims to strengthen community connections and mutual support in daily life.
We are always looking for volunteer supporters, so please don’t hesitate to reach out if you’re interested.
