At Age Concern Auckland, our Coffee Groups offer older people a welcoming place to connect, relax and enjoy good company.
Held across central, west, north and south Auckland, our coffee mornings provide a friendly, informal space where older adults can build friendships, reduce social isolation and feel part of their local community.
Whether you are newly retired, living alone, or simply looking to meet others, our Coffee Groups are open to older people who would like regular social connection in a supportive environment.
Each group is hosted by friendly volunteers and staff who help create a warm, inclusive atmosphere. There is no pressure, just conversation, laughter and companionship over a cup of coffee.
Staying socially connected is an important part of healthy ageing. Research shows that regular social interaction supports wellbeing, confidence and overall health for older adults. Our Coffee Groups are one of the many ways Age Concern Auckland helps older people stay active and engaged in their communities.
