集まろう会：「みんなで楽しむ脳トレ健康麻雀」

ルールがわからなくても大丈夫！今話題の「健康麻雀」体験会指先を使い考えながら楽しむことで、脳の活性化や認知症予防に注目されている「健康麻雀」。 仲間づくりや交流の場としても大人気です！

• 初心者大歓迎！ 「やったことがない・ルールがわからない」という方も安心してお越しください。
  
• 経験者も大歓迎！ 麻雀がお得意な方もぜひご参加ください。
  

講師には、自宅で200回以上の開催実績があるミツさん＆洋子さんをお迎えします。 一緒に楽しく、健康脳トレ麻雀のはじめの一歩を踏み出してみませんか？

あゆみの会：「七夕まつり」

～日本の文化継承を通して育む、多世代のつながり～

オークランドの日本人プレイグループ「あゆみの会」の皆さんと一緒に、気軽でアットホームな七夕まつりを開催します！

ニュージーランドで暮らす子どもたちと、地域の高齢者世代が温かく触れ合える貴重な多世代交流の機会です。日本の伝統行事を楽しみながら、素敵な時間を一緒に過ごしませんか？当日はマオリの新年をお祝いする文化「マタリキ（Matariki）」についてもご紹介します。

• 多世代で楽しむイベント！ 子どもたちと地域の皆さんが温かく交流できる場所です。
  
• 文化に触れるひととき！ 七夕のお祝いだけでなく、マオリの文化マタリキも学べます。

• Absolute Beginners Welcome! Never played before? Don’t know the rules? No worries at all! Come along and enjoy a relaxed, stress-free introduction.
  
• Experienced Players Welcome Too! If you already know your way around the tiles, we would love for you to join us and share the fun.
  

We are delighted to welcome our guest tutors, Mitsu & Yoko, who have hosted over 200 Mahjong sessions at their home! Why not take your first fun step into mind-fitness Mahjong with us?

Ayumi no Kai: "Tanabata" Star Festival

Connecting Generations Through the Celebration of Japanese Culture
Join us for a warm, relaxed, and family-friendly Tanabata (Star Festival) celebration, hosted in partnership with Auckland’s Japanese playgroup, Ayumi no Kai!This is a wonderful opportunity for Japanese-speaking children growing up in New Zealand to connect and share meaningful moments with older generations in our community. Come along and enjoy this beautiful traditional Japanese event together! We will also be sharing a special introduction to Matariki, the Māori New Year, celebrating the beautiful blend of our cultures.

• A Fun Event for All Generations! A heartwarming space where children and local older people can connect, chat, and learn from one another.
  
• A Celebration of Culture! Enjoy the traditional Tanabata festivities while also discovering the significance of Matariki.

「カフェで集まろう会」
毎回先着10名様。

カフェで集まり、雑談を通して様々な情報交換、課題解決策を一緒に見つけたりできるといいなと思っています。65歳未満の方はシニアの方の送迎や、他の地域で開催してくださるボランティアサポーターとして関わってくださる方優先でお越しください。

“Japanese Coffee Group”
– Limited to 10 Participants Each Time

A small and friendly meet-up at a local café, where participants can enjoy light conversation, exchange information, and explore ideas and solutions together.
If you are under 65, we kindly ask that you join mainly as a volunteer supporter — for example, by assisting with transport for older participants or helping to organise similar sessions in other areas.

This gathering offers a relaxed opportunity for people of all generations to meet and enjoy conversation in Japanese.

It also aims to strengthen community connections and mutual support in daily life.
