ニュージーランド選挙について知ろう＆話そう

6月12日（木）10時〜12時 Leicester Hall (Corner Findlay Street and Ramsgate Streets, Ellerslie)

テーマは「知っていこう！ニュージーランドにおける日本人選挙権」といたしまして、
世界でも珍しい移民が持てるニュージーランドでの選挙権を知って、ニュージーランドに移住する選択をする個々の意識を高め、多世代、日本語を話す同士の交流を深める時間を共有できることを目的にしております。

また、今回は、リアル会場からzoom接続もして、ハイブリットでお届けすることに挑戦いたします。

特別な機材があるわけではありませんので、どれくらいのことを提供できるかわかりませんが、今後少しでも多くの方と繋がり、共にNZ在住日本人同士の繋がり、シニア世代のサポートを通して多世代豊な気持ちで支え合える環境の土台を共に築き上げていける取り組みのきっかけにさせていただきます。当日うまくいかないこともあると思いますが、どうぞご理解をいただいた上でzoom参加ご希望の方は、ぜひお申し込みください。

Let’s learn and talk about elections in New Zealand

Thursday, 8 May, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Leicester Hall (Corner of Findlay Street and Ramsgate Streets, Ellerslie)

In this session, we will learn about voting rights for Japanese citizens living in New Zealand.

New Zealand is one of the few countries where immigrants can vote. This is a good chance to understand how it works and why it is important.

We hope to connect people across generations and support each other as Japanese speakers living in NZ.

This time, you can join in person or online by Zoom. We are trying a hybrid event for the first time. We may not have perfect equipment, but we want to include more people.

新オンライン詐欺被害の傾向と対策セミナー

このセミナーでは、さまざまな新しい詐欺の手口の特徴を知り、被害に遭わないような対策と、実際に被害に遭った時の対応についてご紹介いたします。毎回ご好評いただいているセミナーとなります。

セミナーは日本語で行います。

相談ができるお知り合いの輪を広げることも安心できる生活につながると思います。

ご参加年齢の制限はなく、少しでも多くの方に把握していただきたい内容となっております。ぜひ、お声がけをいただき、多世代が集まり知り合い学びとなる機会をぜひご活用ください。

Learn the New Tricks and How to Protect Yourself

In this seminar, you will learn about common features of the latest scams, how to avoid becoming a victim, and what to do if you are affected. This is one of our most popular seminars, and we’re happy to bring it to you again.

The seminar will be conducted in Japanese.

We believe that building a circle of people you can talk to brings comfort and a safer life.

We mainly support people aged 65 and over, but anyone interested is welcome to join. Please invite your family and friends and take this chance to learn together.

母の日は過ぎてしまいますが、手軽に入手できる材料で、「あら！不思議！！」どんな色のお花のペーパークラフトが出来上がるか？
みなさんで大実験を行ってみたいと思います。子どもから大人までが一緒に楽しめます

クラフトを楽しんだ後は、昔懐かしフォークダンス。輪になってみんなで一緒に踊りましょう

ご家族お友達にも声をかけて一緒にご参加ください。

Paper Craft & Folk Dance

Mother’s Day may have passed, but we’re going to have fun with a creative paper craft activity using easy-to-find materials. “Wow, how mysterious!” — let’s experiment together and see what kinds of colorful paper flowers we can create. It’s a fun activity for all ages!

After crafting, let’s enjoy some nostalgic folk dancing together in a circle.

Bring along your family and friends and join us!

There are no age or participant limits, but as we need to prepare materials, please RSVP in advance.

Some of our participants have lived in New Zealand for over 30 years. Japanese Monthly Meet Up is a great place to reflect together on what keeps us healthy as we age, and how we can prepare for the future.
